Innovation, by definition, is not limited to any academic discipline or profession; however, one of the most challenging tasks of innovation has been the effort of breaking down barriers that hinder interpretation and application of innovation in various situations. Stepping out of the academic or professional contexts of discussion, we may find out that humans, individually and collectively, constantly look for new ways to solve everyday problems or imagine new ways of living to be used as motivation for innovation. Thus, wisdoms and purposes of life may provide inspirations to break down the barriers of innovation between different disciplines or professions.

For last four years, TTF (Trends of Transformation) has continuously structured the conference in three topics, social needs, organizational innovation and emerging technologies. “Transformation” is used as an overarching theme in the discussions of these topics, in which transformation often play a double role, as motivation or as consequence of innovation.

TTF 2019: Innovation with No Boundaries looks at:

1) how greater societal purposes play an important role in aligning different perspectives in the transformation of businesses;

2) how to break down barriers in the decision making across different levels of decision makers;

3) what may be areas of emerging technologies that may lead to next waves of disruptive transformations.
