Content overview

Professor Sabine Junginger today shared with people-centered design and organizational transformation. Professor Sabine Junginger's report has three parts, which are very important for design.

Professor Sabine Junginger mentioned a book called "The Problem of Design". In this book, why is design linked to the organization? We think about what an organization is and think of the organization as a designed product. Human-centered design can support the change and transformation of the organization, so it can deeply understand the human experience, can also innovate the possibility of some people's interaction, and integrate the structure of the organization, so the design is not just a product or a The definition of service and design is very broad. The elements of design can be used in any product development, whether it is human experience or human interaction, or in an organizational system, design can play a huge role.

People-oriented design, in the organizational environment, we must analyze the organization as an object of design, to find and understand the design method of an organization's current situation. For example, when this organization wants to find new innovative methods and innovative results, it must understand the way it is designed now. The current design method, first of all, how to do project design management and how to develop this project, the key is not the design method, but the organization itself, what is the organization's thinking in design, how can this organization become a design Type organization. First of all, we must understand what its design principles are, how it is designed, how it is designed, and what design methods are used. What kind of design principles and methods and processes are used by this organization? It is important to understand that these can change the status quo and prepare the fertile ground for new capacity development in the future.

Professor Sabine Junginger mentioned that if you want the organization to continue to have new ideas, be able to continue to plan better, and pass on to create some value, bring greater and better changes to the people it designs. In an organization, both in the public domain and the private domain, these organizations need to find something that can provide value to others, and this value must be useful to this person, so the relevance and value are currently facing the organization Some challenges. If you are a government agency, and the products or services you provide are not related to people, you will fail; if you are an enterprise, what you provide is of no value or relevance to people, it will also fail. So relevance and value are a core element for any form of organization.

Professor Sabine Junginger also introduced some of her research in design, organization and management. When Professor Sabine Junginger and her team do design and organization management research, they will explore and better understand the relevance and value of human-centered design in public and private organizations. This is the first step. Then connect all these issues together to determine a sustainable development goal. This requires the team to have new design, new design thinking, new design methods and new design principles. For each of these sustainable development goals, if we cannot solve the current core problems, the design cannot reach Set goals. In other words, how should we look at management and design, managers are also designers, they will affect a structure, a shape, and the environment of the organization, so that the corresponding products and services can be produced. Professor Sabine Junginger also mentioned the assumption that design and change are inseparable, and each change is an opportunity for future innovation. Design and change are inseparable. We want to change the current situation into the situation we want, that is, design.
