Xinxiang Yang, founder of XXY Innovation, Ph.D. in Design Philosophy from Carnegie Mellon University, served as Dean of the School of Design of Jiangnan University, and Director of the Master of Interactive Design Course at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has an educational and working background that spans multiple disciplines including machinery, architecture, graphic design, oil painting, interactive design, and art history. Teacher Xin explained a phenomenon for us. Every 50 years, there is an important technological breakthrough. From the beginning of a technology to its recognition, acceptance, and application by society, it requires the participation of social organizations. In fact, the technology we understand is not just the technology itself, but the technology applied by people. How to apply technology? It is a method, a technology, a design. This design has some specific results, even though many people may not be able to explain what this result is.

Well, we can see that in the design, we must consider various dimensions, such as communication, the essence of things, strategic planning, etc., which are the different dimensions and elements that we need to consider in our design. Many symbols, logos, things, actions may be combined in a complex environment through a unified concept and idea, which is actually design.

Teacher Xin emphasized that we must have a clear idea and support daily behaviors and actions with tangible things, so that we will get more effective results. If it is not clear what is a vision and what is a value, then I do not know how to make decisions in an organizational way. We all have a dream. We have to think about social life, and when our society continues to deepen change, we have to think about the principles that allow us to truly become a proud human being. Teacher Xin also proposed that a new section will be added in next year's TTF, that is "TTFDream".

You may be wondering what is this connection point with the design? There will be a design competition at that time. This is not just a concept, but a dream. It is a completely different concept and latitude from the past. Everyone needs to understand what is a concept and what is a product. The dream is at the top, the concept is at the bottom, and the product is in the middle. This is in terms of the latitude of the game. Next year's TTF Dream Contest, I look forward to everyone joining, so that together we can make the dream come true. Once you have a good principle, carry it out and stick to it, you can really do it. We can see that empowerment, enlightenment, and inspiration are very important.
